Gray's Parlor was heavily inspired by my Corridor perfume (2016) which saw Dorian Gray courting his naive first love, Sybil Vane after her nightly performances at the shabby, little theater. Gray's Parlor is the public face he shows; where he receives his guests after visiting his rotting painting in the attic. It's elegant and otherworldly but tainted with something else...we all know what it is, we just can't put a word on it.
